What does a Story Creator do?
Story Creators develop original stories into episodic audio and, where needed, visual or video storytelling. Depending on the project, this can include concepts, characters and plotting; scripts and episode structure; voice narration or appropriately authorized AI-assisted voice production; sound and audio editing; relevant images and visual assets; video storytelling; and final content preparation and quality review. The specialization you choose in the application is your primary skill, not a commitment to handle every stage yourself.
Can beginners apply to Kathanio?
Yes. New and experienced storytellers are welcome to express interest. An original concept and a clear sample can help our team understand your style.
Do I need a fully written story?
No. A short original story pitch is enough for initial screening. You may optionally include a brief excerpt or portfolio link; do not send your whole manuscript.
What languages can I create in?
We welcome interest in Telugu, Hindi, English and other Indian languages. Selection and production support depend on current needs.
Will I be paid or published if I apply?
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, publication, work or payment. Any collaboration, rights and compensation must be agreed separately.
Who will see my application?
Once applications open, only authorized recruitment operators should access applicant information for screening and communication. Please do not submit sensitive identity documents.
